Once again, another month has seemed to fly by. Thanksgiving is less than 48 hours away! I don't know about everyone else, but my fridge at home is already packed full of what will soon be Thanksgiving dinner. I'm excited (and thankful) for another Thanksgiving. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will kick off my Turkey Day festivities, followed by a morning of cooking and baking. Then, the best part of the whole day: eating. The turkey, ham, stuffing, mashing potatoes, green bean casserole, and Grandma's Raspberry Pretzel deliciousness will fill my plate, followed by Pumpkin and Pecan Pie. The day will be rounded off with a food coma and football. But enough about MY Thanksgiving traditions...here's some of the traditions going on around Visalia on Thanksgiving...
Visalia Emergency Aid Council's Race Against Hunger
You can run or walk, but either way you'll be helping fight hunger. Grab the family and start your Thanksgiving more off with a bang! For more info about the race and how to participate, click

Black Friday Shopping
You can find some pretty sweet deals on Black Friday. Check out Black Friday ads for all of your favorite stores on their websites or in The Visalia Times Delta. If you've never been shopping on Black Friday, you need to. At least once, I dare you! It's quite the experience and can be really fun.
Whatever you do this Thanksgiving holiday, be sure to take a few moments and remember all you have to be thankful for. And, as always, be safe! Whether you're traveling or staying close to home this year, take the few extra minutes to be safe and cautious.
Gobble, gobble! Happy Thanksgiving from the Visalia Convention & Visitors Bureau to you!
