With the Great Western Fan Festival a little more than a month away, fans may be getting anxious to hear their gospel favorites. Well, fear not. The California Melody Boys are performing this Saturday, March 23rd at the Lindsay Community Theater.
Now here’s a little history regarding this melodious group. This trio became a group in February 2003. Formerly a quartet, this trio has become a well-recognized part of the southern gospel music family, specifically on the West Coast. The trio belongs to two music associations: The Central California Southern Gospel Music Association and the Western States Gospel Music Association. Since joining these associations, The California Melody Boys have been regular participants of the Great Western Southern Gospel Fan Festival. This group uses southern style harmonies to deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ. Present members are David Donald (Tenor), Larry Martin (Lead), and Daymon Qualls (Baritone).
