Arts Visalia Presents: Muzi Li Rowe and Kate Timbes

“More, Faster, Better, Efficient” by Muzi Li Rowe and “Coming Together to Fall Apart” by Kate Timbes will be exhibiting from March 6 – March 30, 2025. Rowe recycles used electronic cables into sculptures inspired by the traditional folk art of Chinese knotting. Timbes’ sculptural installation work utilizes found objects in a reimagined exploration of human experience. The Opening Reception will take place on Friday, March 7 from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm. There will be a live demonstration by Muzi Li Rowe on Sunday, March 30. Arts Visalia will be a featured location during the South Valley Art Tour. Art exhibitions, live demos and handcrafted gifts for sale. The South Valley Art Tour will take place on Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. April will showcase the work of artists in our community during the annual community show “Environment.” This juried exhibition will take place April 3 – April 26, 2025. A free Opening Reception will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm during which awards will be announced for Best of Show, People’s Choice, 2D Merit, and 3D Merit. This year will feature the guest juror Aaron Collins of Sequoia Riverlands Trust. Art classes for children, teens, and adults are available at Arts Visalia.
