82 Deluxe will take the stage with their brand of outlaw country mixed with rockabilly and some Central Valley twang. Known for their dynamic “outlaw style performance,” 82 Deluxe continues the tradition of Merle Haggard and Buck Owens.
Finishing the night, the globe-trotting band, Dirty Cello, led by cross-over cellist Rebecca Roudman, brings a high-energy blend of sexy blues, rock, and Americana that will get your heart thumping and toes tapping. Dirty Cello has performed everywhere from Europe to Iceland to Alaska and presents a unique blend of danceable, wailing blues with a bit of Americana style country, and a whole lot of fun.
The LA Times described Dirty Cello as, “The group seamlessly careens from blues to bluegrass and rock in a way that really shouldn't make sense but somehow does.” Sacramento News and Review states "Roudman has been called “the Jimi Hendrix of the cello,” though her versatile vocal approach is another lynchpin to the band’s ongoing appeal."
